Outfit ideas for bubble skirt?
Permalink Closed

I just bought a black bubble skirt from Forever 21 today. It looks exactly like the one from Urban Outfitters.

So, I was wondering what I could wear this skirt with to make it look more grown up and less little girl? I just can't think of anything besides plain tank tops or shirts!

Thanks!

I have my eye on the UO skirt and I feel like I have a ton of outfit ideas already.

You could wear it now with tight and this cardigan and a pretty cami:

and wear it later with:

Or a cute little blazer.  Not necessarily this one, but something similar would be cute.  Basically any close-fitting jacket/blazer would look really cute.

Or this for more casual looks:

I also think a cute graphic tee like the panda one with some colorful heels would be cute.  To make the look more grown up, I'd steer away from flats.  IMO they make the model look a little juvenile.

NC Shopper, you rock!

I would never have thought of pairing the skirt with heels to make it more grown up. I wore it yesterday with my beige suede round toe pumps and a fitted blazer, and it was a hit. Thanks so much!

Oh, and I was wondering if this skirt would look cool with a fitted motorcycle type jacket? Or any other types of jackets?

Thanks so much!

how long is your skirt?

i am wearing mine today as a dress (the hem ends just under the knees) with a fitted blazer over it.  i have gotten TONS of compliments on it.

i also like it as a dress with a shrug or a cropped jacket with a big belt.

as a skirt, i'll wear it with a long tee or tank with a belt.
