Can you recommend any brands, styles...? My coach needs to be recovered, but cant afford it now because buying a condo- I have rich colors in my living room- greens, burgandies, reds, with lots of oriental and contemporary accents. I think a solid would be best, but ideas and suggestions of any patterns, styles, complimentary colors would be appreciated. TIA!

Slipcovers never look as nice as they show on the package but if it's like my case, better than what's underneath!  I don't think it really matters what brand it is since they are basically cut the same and hope you have a basic style couch.  Here is what mine looks like:

Target currently has some on clearance.  I got this in October on clerance for I think $16.  The little matching pillows were $5 each clearance.  Oh, and I always have to readjust it after is gets sat on, annoying so I'm glad it hardly gets used since it's just the couch in front of the gaming tv.

Cortney is right- it's really hard to get slipcovers to look perfect, but it's a lot cheaper than buying fitted ones (the ones I want for my couch are $300!). I would totally recommend checking discount stores like Burlington Coat Factory, Overstock.com, Ocean State Job Lot (if there's one near you), Marshall's, etc. I know it sounds weird, but if you pick through the stuff, you can sometimes find some great slipcovers (much to my own surprise, I found great ones for $30 at Ocean State Job Lot of all places! They're wonderful- wash well and a beautiful material- really look much more expensive). HTH!
