the top is ehhh ... cute but i wouldn't pay full price for it.  that one or something similar will undoubtedly be on clearance in the near future.


BUT, the skirt, i really like.  i got a similar one recently from ae (and i paid full price ) and love it.  the fit is great -- i have 2 other skirts that are the same cut, the trouser-y, thick waist band and 13.5 inches long, and i wear them constantly in the summer.  the only thing i don't like about it -- and this could just be an issue on me -- is the back flap pockets.  i wear the skirt pretty low on my hips and have absoultely no butt, so the pockets hang really low and i think they look a little weird.  i would much prefer if the skirt had regular back pockets or just trousery slit pockets (like the other summer skirts i have in this style have).  that said, i still wear the jean skirt a ton and think it was a totally worthwile purchase.
