I want to give my friends a cute but simple and cheap Valentines gift but I dont know what. I was thinking about stopping by the Dollar store and getting some plastic baggies with hearts and filling them with chocolates and candy.
That's a good idea. I would do that. If you want another idea, Godiva always has small chocolate gifts for less than $10. I tend to buy those when I need to buy a bunch of gifts that I don't necessarily want to spend a lot of money on. I can't post pictures from their site, but here are some links:
Target has the cutest stuff ever in their "Dollar Spot" area. I also found the coolest giftcards that I am giving to my kids for valentines day-they look like a little cassette and you can record a message (and can re-record too). The cool thing is that they don't cost any extra and you can load on as much as you want. Very nifty. I also bought one for my husband and had the kids sing "Happy Birthday" since today is his b-day.
I agree with travelgirl. Target is great for small cute gifts. They have their seasonal t-shirts for $5. A friend picked one up for me that said "Te Amo" on it. It was cute and the quality of the shirt was great for the price.
