Anyone worn Mavi jeans?
Permalink Closed

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with Mavi jeans and how they might fit?  I haven't heard of the brand, but they looked cute at first glance.

Thanks girls.

Mavi is a great midrange brand...they used to sell tons at Urban Outfitters and Nordies. They may still have a bunch at Nordies. I liked them because the fit was really nice and they were great bumming around jeans that weren't so prevalent in the way, say, Abercrombie was. Back in the day (maybe 4-5 years ago) Shopbop used to sell them.

The fit is all over the place though...they're hard to buy online because of this. I had a pair in 28 rigid that got too small for me.

I still have a pair of slim stretch bootcuts in the basic Molly style (they're a 27 and they're my fat jeans...these run huge) and they're very nice, though they are VERY stretchy in the way most juniors' denim is. They make me look superskinny when I wear with high heels.

I have a pair and they are my FAVORITE jeans!  I got them at Macy's less than a year ago.  They say size 27 but I'm not to sure how correct that is since I wear size 0 in AE and Gap, so wouldn't that make me a size 24 or 25?

I loved Mavis when I was in college! The do stretch out but if you wash them in hot water they go back to their orig size so if you are bloated then just wear a pair that have not been washed. Also doubt they still have them but the button fly ones - the buttons sometimes came off in the dryer and I always took them back to Nordies because of that!
