OOh! Thats gorgeous. What will you wear it with? I love this kind of jewelry, but am  not to good at accesorizing.  This necklace is what I was refering to.-- Edited by lilyann at 09:33, 2006-02-12

I don't really have an outfit picked out for it, but it's very much my style... I guess whatever it works with - I usually put together my outfit then go to my jewelry to see what works... I can see myself with a black pencil skirt black v or crew neck sweater, black patterned tights and black boots or pumps with it... or my black & cream plaid a-line skirt with black tights/boots, and big cream anthro sweater over a cream v neck sweater or cream blouse...  let's see - jeans & a sweater - I don't know - if it is right for the outfit I'll put it on! I have no definite plans for it right now, I just know I love it and it will work with my wardrobe colors

sephorablue, can you give a review of those silver Urban flats when you get a chance?  I've been looking at them trying to decide if I should get them.  Thanks!

I broke the shopping ban but not to bad.  Here is what I got: Old Navy in pink and yellow in pink and yellow New York and Company: Preppy cardi in Gray (very cute) 3 long sleve tees in pink, white and black Olive mini skirt White eyelet cardi

hey prissy....are those ON tanks the new ones with the label printed? are they long enough, like low hip? i wanted to try those because they seem to have more colors than the others that i usually buy but didn't want to risk it because they might be too short. so...how are they? long enough? like a couple inches past your belly button?

Heatherlynn- I think you'll be fine...you only need to worry about sizing up if you got the point flats.

Honey- can you let me know how the green C-lable shoes are once you get them? I've been debating whether or not I should get them for a while now. Where did you find them in black?

Sephorablue- those yellow shoes are TDF!!

Honey - what type of jeans are those? and did you actually buy them from shopbop? What is the fit like etc?

they're the joe's cigarette leg jeans. i got them from bloomies b/c they were having an extra 15% off sale if you use your card. the fit is good, slim but not tapered. the sad thing is they might have to go back. i was supposed to do a focus group today that would cover the cost of the jeans, but i'm totally not going out in the snow.

ayo -- i got the shoes from the find outlet buy my house. i actually went to see if they had the one's cc was going to buy since i remembered find had c.label shoes for super cheap. (they didn't) anyway pm me your size and i'll check later this week to see if they have them. they were only $20 with the coupon from luckymag.

imho i honestly would not pay retail for c.label shoes.  anything less than $80 is great, but the quality does not justify the $200+ price point, esp. since the shoes are glued together (well the pairs i have). i will say that they are quite comfortable.

inspired by the platform wedge section in the Lucky spring/summer shoe guide I grabbed the following on zappos:

Pollini - was $295, marked down to $78....   and Casadei - was $490, marked down to $99...

Studio Pollini S16490Casadei 1173

getting ready for warmer weather (as unlikely as it seems right now, inevitably, it will arrive) and taking advantage of good deals when I can!

It's been so long since I really shopped...I had so much fun yesterday...probably too much.

Shorts from Forever 21 (the black pinstripe) and Wet Seal (the brown/pink plaid)

$19.90

Here's the fit of the f21 pair. (in the fitting room...I tried on the b/w stripe top that halleybird saw, but it's sooooo long on me...it went right over my butt and hit at the top of my thighs. )

$15.50

Monty Python tee from French Connection (because John Cleese = God of comedy)

$19.90

And because I too, succumb to peer pressure and a good bargain, these two pairs of Magnolia shoes.

Aurora - brown$41

Audra - red$37

Used my discount and got...
-they've got an embellished belt thing with paliette (sp?) type shell things- and they aren't too long!! - it's hard to see, but there's white embroidery on it too- I love this shirt; I think I will live in it in the summer ...and an olive mid-length sleeve henley that apparently isn't on the site. Yay! for spending money

I'm on a shopping ban after this weekend. I got a big bonus at work last week for meeting last year's goals so the husband and I both got new clothes.

At Target I got:

(in white)

At Banana Republic:

(In brown. Had to borrow a photo from ebay since I can't find it on their website)

Two sweaters--one brown 3/4 sleeve and with a tie neckline, the other a biege color, slinky knit and with a knitted flower on the neckline

At Gap:
White 3/4 sleeve blazer

At the shoe store:
A pair of black peep toe heels

That doesn't sound so bad, until you add in everything the husband bought. He spent more money than I did!

I went outlet shopping. Our outlet mall got all new good stores, so I had to go. Anyways, I got a cole Haan Clutch in this greenish color. I got these sandals from Gap that I loved like 3 years ago but I could never find my size. And I got a knit button down sweater from Banana in a light airy blue color. I was so excited my purchases only came out to $60.

A few weekend indulgences.  My Nordstrom gift card was burning a hole...

Here are my treasures:

The brown top is by Shine and I love it!  The hoodie is a Lucky, and the necklace is beautiful in person - fun for spring!  Had to throw in some bath yummies for our tub.  Oh, and See's candy for our girls for Valentines.

i've been trying to save money and did so well all weekend--didn't buy a thing.  and then i came here and saw all the cute shoes you guys bought, so i picked up these--

i have no idea what they will go with or even if they will fit me, but for $33 i couldn't pass them up.  my bff's feet are about 1/2 size bigger than mine and she can wear higher heels--so if they don't work on me, she will be receiving a nice little surprise.

I ordered this stuff from AE with their free shipping over $100 code, and I think they are giving out $10 money cards if you buy at least $75 worth of stuff.
