Last night was soooo boring. I only half watched and surfed ST at the same time.

But how much do I love Julie Cooper? She makes the whole show.

Last night's episode was sooooo boring. I cannot believe they are now going to have Marissa dwell over dead Johnny. I can already see it coming - now her and Ryan aren't going to get along because she's in love w/dead Johnny. Give me a break. I really hope Ryan dumps her ass!

Oh and what's up w/no new episodes until March 9??

i didn't even think the episode was so much boring as *weird.* they didn't even come out and tell us that johnny was dead, we just had to hear that ridiculous chili character talking about a funeral in the same tone he would an operation or something. was it just me, or did no one seem adequately upset? they all seemed serious but not distraught. maybe it's just bad acting.

and was i supposed to care about kaitlyn and her little boyfriend? i don't even know that guy's name, why was he in so many scenes? i don't like it when they don't know what to do on the show, so instead of writing interesting stories, they just throw in some new, lame characters. like that sadie...and i thought we were all done with the meanie surfer dude?

here's what will happen: ryan will finally(!) realize that marissa is as fun as a lump on a log and will break up with her and go have another baby with this sadie girl. then marissa will go running into weirdo matt's arms (anyone else notice him leering at her? or am i reading too much into it?) and then there will be a whole inappropriate age difference scandal. but that's all probably entirely too interesting to actually happen.

the only moment i enjoyed was when summer was like, "i'm wearing The Thong" and seth was like, "yeah...that's my mom's"...hehe. ew! no i take that back...loooved when Dr. Roberts asked JuJu to be his valentine. so cute!!!

Ugh what is wrong with the writers! I agree that they could be coming up with interesting stories but instead they having this stupid revolving door of boring characters. They laid the groundwork for so many interesting things early on in the show and then just abandoned them. What about that conversation Kirsten had with Theresa in which she implied that she had an abortion? I know Jimmy Cooper is gone (again!) but they could still figure out a way to work on that story.

The only things that I've enjoyed recently are Juju and the fact that almost everyone calls Summer's dad Dr. Roberts instead of Neil.

The OC just sucked last night. I thought after last week's episode things would start to get better but last night was just so boring. I don't even really care that they are taking a break until March.

OMG Valencia! I thought the same thing about Matt leering at Marissa! I said to my boyfriend "oh maybe she'll like him next and be all confused w/Ryan again" blah.

valenciana, i noticed the same things you did. ewwww to matt/marissa, but you know that's happening. gross. and no one was all that broken up about a really massive tragedy (except marissa)--i mean, even kiki who is supposed to be the nurturing mother-figure, sure got over it quickly. i liked the funeral scenes, though--i think they did a good job with that.

ugh, i noticed matt checking out marissa too. i am so sick of her character. always in distress, yet always every man falls in love and obsession over her within .05 seconds.

but i also loved the scene between seth and summer where she said she was wearing the thong! they should just make the show about them, and julie, and sandy and kirsten.

Yeah, I totally caught that whole Marissa and Matt thing. The whole if you need to talk. I had to roll my eyes, it was just sort of creepy. So what Ryan will break up with her and she will run to him for advice.
