Give me a case for why I should NOT get these. I tried them on at a local boutique. They fit like a gem and are so so beautiful and hit at the perfect place on my thighs for modesty's sake without sacrificing hotness.

Johnson $240.

I can see the fug girls coming across LA and shooting me in the night.

well...for one, they're $240.  that's a lot of money for not a lot of fabric.

two, i really doubt this shorts trend will last very long, and it's just too expensive for something that's not going to go beyond this year.  and three, i'm sure if you just wait a month, you'll be able to find something similar knocked off at every other store in the mall (particularly at abercrombie and forever 21).  so, no yelling, just some logical reasoning.  hth!

I can't yell at you or tell you not to get them because they're beautiful.  I've been thinking about getting them as well and the only thing holding me back (other than the price) is that I can't find them in my size.  I agree that they're expensive for shorts but my theory, and maybe this can be your as well, is that they would be the only pair of shorts I would buy and I would rather have one pair of shorts that I love instead of several pairs that are just ok.  Sorry for enabling.

Okay, I can help with this.  You are paying $240 for SHORTS!!  Shorts that will not necessarily be popular for that long.  I personally hate wearing shorts.  My thighs are bigger like yours and feel like they are just not that flattering on me.  I think if you really want shorts buy them some place cheaper or wait for these to hit ebay.  There is no need to spend that much money on something you can't wear all year (only a for a few months even in LA).  Dont get them!!!

Oh, and I do love them, but not for $240.  =)  HTH

don't do it! seriously wake up early one sat. morning, head to  your nearest forever 21 and rifle through the racks until you find an exact copy of those shorts for $20.  or go to a junior's dept.  as cute as they are there's absolutely no reason to drop that much money on something that you will most likely be sick of by september. sorry for the tough love, but girl step away from those shorts.

I suggest reading the Fug site because they reallyyyyyyy hate formal shorts and I'm sure you don't want them going after you!

$240 for shorts?!?!?!?!

They're cute, but they're shorts for heaven's sake!  A)  It's only February right now.  By the time March/April rolls around, Target will have a knockoff that will be like $20.  Every place will have a knockoff that's a ton cheaper.  B)  They're shorts and IMO, there is nothing about them that justifies that price tag.

That's my opinion.

Ok, remember that just a week or so ago you weren't going to pay $70 for shorts from Bebe, so definately don't pay $240!  If anything, go back to Bebe and get those or go to Forever21.

Don't give in! While they do fit you perfectly, $240 for shorts is an awful lot. AND, you know that the moment you buy them, Forever 21 will come out with some knockoffs for $20. Think of what else you could get with $240- new shoes or a new bag, which you will get much more use out of in the long run.

get the bebe shorts.  240 is way too much sister...  you could have (coach) glasses and shorts for close to that much, right?

yeah, what happened to those ones from bebe that you posted a pic of you wearing? they were so cute on you and perfect--i don't know why you would need to spend 3X as much for exactly the same thing.

240 = okay for boots, great shoes, a great coat, a bag, even jeans might be justifable.. but Shorts! No way (in my book)

I guess it's hard to tell in the pics, but I went back for a second look at them and noticed that there are silver lurex threads woven through. I can't handle the shinyness.
