Valentines Gift Idea for hubby
Permalink Closed

so we are going into the Chicago and staying at the link below. He booked it as a surprise and dinner for Saturday but I found out b/c I tried to make plans with friends for that night.  Want can I do for him? I was going to take our fav champagne and some chocolate strawberries. I just called and got us both massages in the room for Sunday AM.

I also wanted a fun big candy dish to fill with candy for his desk. I have candy everywhere at work. any ideas?

What is he interested in? Maybe some of us Chicago girls can recommend a local place to take him to and you can surprise him!

Well Around the Coyote is this weekend which is a local arts fest in Wicker Park. I've gone the last couple of years and it's pretty fun.

You could also just go to the art Institute, it's fantastic especially if the weather is cold, it's nice to be inside. Since you are new to Chicago I would totally recommend museums etc. The Shedd is really cool as well and the Field Museum that has a great Pompeii exhibit right now.

For IMAX you could go to Navy Pier, sort of touristy but fun to ride the Ferris Wheel. Roving Mars is the IMAX movie right now. Haven't been but IMAX is always cool.

Maybe gets tickets for something after dinner like Second city? I believe they have a midnight show.

Hmm that's all I can think of right now!
