V-day Party Outfit (Pics Included)
Permalink Closed

Okay before I headed to bed last night I decided to try on the outfits I was posting on yesterday.  The outfit is for a V-day Party/Dance Sat. night.  I had planned on wearing the Navy dress with Red Heels until I saw the forcast.  Snow Possible - High of 32/Low of 22.  Now I'm worried I'll look a little strange in peeptoes and bare legs considering the weather.  What do you think??

So here's my options:

Option #1 - Navy Shirtdress, Red PeepToe Slingbacks, Cream Cami, Cream Earrings and Rope Bracelet

Option #2 - Green Graphic Print Shirtdress, Brown Boots, Cream Cami, Cream Earrings and Rope Bracelet.    If you think this one would be best, which tights would you wear??  Brown Tights  Cream Tights Camel Fishnets

i agree about the second being best - both look great, but for the weather, #2 is it.  my vote is for camel fishnets.

you're going to be the hottest one there for sure!  that dress looks amazing on you in both colors.

I think option #1 is really cute!  But, if it's going to be freezing and possibly even snow, I don't know if it would be the most comfortable option, even if you will be indoors the majority of the time.  I think you should go with the green dress (though I'm biased, I have it in the blue pattern) and either the fishnets or the cream tights. I can't decide, they both look good!

i like #1 better, but for the weather #2 makes more sense.  i would wear that with camel fishnets.

First of all, both of those dresses look great on you!  I vote for the 2nd dress w/the camel fishnets.

I agree with everyone else--number 2 with the fishnets.

Both dresses look great on you!

I like #1 those shoes are too hot to not wear no matter what the weather is.

Have you thought about wearing #1 with tights?  I'm not sure how it would look IRL but cream textured tights might look good.  I think it looks best bare legged but tights might make #1 more wearable in the cold/snow.  Just a though...

I like #1 best, especially if you'll just be going from the car to the front door and back.

How would the camel fishnets look with the navy dress/red heels?

i like #1 too.  i'm wearing these shoes in chicago to go out...(granted, i won't be outside, only to get from the cab to the restaurant), but i totally think that you could wear the shoes since it's a dance that you said you're going to.  boots don't scream dance to me as much as the red shoes do.

Both dresses look so lovely on you! If you end up wearing the boots, I like the camel fishnets the best. But I agree that the peeptoes would be great for a dance.

The first one is so much more "dance" like to me. I think it looks so cute; I love the shoes, and if you are just going from the car inside, then I don't think you will look like you dressed the wrong way given the weather if you are going to be inside the whole time.

I like them both so I'm not much help. I really like how you put a cami underneath. I have a few wrap dresses and always worry that I'm showing to much cleavage (which I usually am) so I can't wait to try this!

Definitely #1 if you can stand it.  The second is a lovely outfit (esp. w/ the camel fishnets), but it really looks like daytime to me.
