I'm going to a Valentines Day Dance (Party) Sat. night. It's going to be cold - in the 30's. But the outfits my husband wants me to wear doesn't provide much warmth. It'll definetly be warm inside the place but I don't want to look weird, you know??
Here's the outfit he picked out - It does look really cute on!
This dress but in SOLID Navy (I just found it at BR this past weekend and love it - so soft and fits perfectly)
They actually had the model wearing the cream cami under the solid Navy dress and it looked so cute. Luckily I had bought the cami a few weeks ago.
I think you're ok - it's springy, but not like wearing turquoise chiffon or something. And technically this is just early, early spring (must keep telling myself that because it is damn cold).
Nope. This is what I would call a transition piece. I can see it in the mag that does the "wear it now, wear it later" section every month. They would pare it with a turtle neck underneath (or not) and prob. tights with sleek boots for winter, and with the sleeves rolled up w/sandals for summer.
The way you are doing it will be great for party wear. If you want to be more wintry, try adding sexy boots instead.
And I'm so happy to hear they have that dress in a solid navy...I tried on the print and it just was not flattering on me even thought I loved the dress! I'll have to check it out!

I was thinking boots too. I would wear brown boots and I might try cream tights depending on the length of the dress and where it hits in relation to the boots.
