Why C+C?

I know lots of gals on this forum swear by C+C for basic tees and tops.

I guess I am wondering why....what makes them so great?

i have a couple of tops by them. i like the fact that they're basics, but with a little extra oomph. i.e. the bell sleeve tees with a scoop neck and longer sleeves, so in theory you could wear jeans and a tee, and not look like you're wearing jeans & a tee. of course this was more true when they first came out, and now lots of people are doing the same thing at better price points.

i did pick up a couple of their cashmere pieces this year, and i like them a lot. the cashmere is super soft, and the styles can easily be dressed up or down. which is a big plus imo. in sum i wouldn't necessarily pay full price for them, but i'm very happy with all the tops by them that i own.

I really like the style of C&C clothing.  I guess what draws me to the brand is what honey said, "they're basics, but with a little extra oomph", which is pretty much how I would describe my personal style. So the brand in general works for me. Also, I buy a lot of my C&C stuff on ebay and the prices are very reasonable.

I've never paid more than $20 for any of my C&C stuff. I like the stuff I have, but their sizing is really strange (some things are huge, others are normal) and it stretches out a lot.
