I like the nam kim bag, but I worry about the short handle, it seems heavy to carry on your arm, and not sure if it will fit under the arm. Here is a similar version by Dutchy. Sorry all the pics are either tiny or huge, so i picked huge

I vote for the yellow bag. I always love a yellow purse and I think you could totally rock it. I am also really drawn toward the bags from girlshop. I just really like the design...if you are in need of a more neutral bag.

thanks for the feedback. so this is where it gets complicated...i really like the yellow bag, and yellow is my *favorite* color. the thing that's holding me back is part of me wants to make my investment bag a yellow bag. my first instinct is to go with a sissi rossi bag

similar to this one, but slightly different shape. the thing that i love is the leather is so soft and buttery, and i'm really into washed leather right now. plus i like the fact that it's not an "it" bag. i have absolutely nothing against it bags ( i dream of paddingtons) but i'd rather wait on an it bag until i have a good collection (whenever that happens/if it ever happens).

so today in macy's i saw this bag

i love, love, love the shape. and the really cool thing is that even though it has the lv monogram you can't see it until you get really close. it kind of has this subtle chic thing going on.

now i'm torn. i kind of want to hold off on buying a pricey bag until i have a momentous occasion to celebrate, and the bag will be a keep sake. ( i already have an event in mind).

the yellow bag also comes in blue

so maybe i could get it in this color. or should i just wait? i'm totally overanalyzing this...

I am very anti monogram and "it" bags, so you can take my opinion for what it is worth. I love the sissi rossi bag. I tried to look up the price on the site and couldn't find it. I am assuming it is more expensive. I think if you want a yellow bag to be your investment bag you should wait a little and save up to buy the bag you really want. Although the purse in blue is cute, I think you would rather have a yellow bag that you really want. That is just my $.02.
