i bought something similar to these at a random store in our outlets, but so far i just stare at them.  i saw a girl wearing them with a cotton asymetrical hemmed skirt and a cami w/ cardi and flats and she looked adorable !!  i tried to copy, and i looked like a crazy person.  i think i'm too old for the leggings under a denim mini a la lilykind (who looks so cute BTW), but do you guys have any other ideas? or should i just wear them to bed?

generally, i think tights under things is a more funky look. so if you typically don't dress funky, it may feel weird for you to wear (i hope that makes sense).

for instance, i love how a lot of girls look in hats.  i think it adds a funky stylish element to the outfit, but everytime i go out wearing a hat i feel like a douche-bag that is trying too hard just because i generally don't dress funky.  i always leave the house without the hat because i don't feel like myself.

so for me, i would feel the same way about tights.  i'm not saying that you won't be able to wear them, but that's maybe why you felt that way when you tried the look.

Oh dear...this is the one look I just can't accept...all I think of is bad 80's-90's flashbacks.  I just don't think it flatters anyone.

So I guess I'm of no help at all. :(
