This seller has a ton of positive feedback, but also a few negative. I want to know what you gals think, especially you Chloe owners. I'm planning on a new bag purchase for spring and this is one of the options. So, is this too good to be true?
UPDATE - seller never answered my e-mails, so I didn't get the bag. I sent one through eBay and a second one through the e-mail address they list. But I have been extensively looking at other authentic bags and fake ones as well, and this one does look legit. If they get back to me and relist it I might still get it...

it looks dead-on to me, but I'm not familiar with that color... doesn't mean it's not authentic though - plus if it did come from the factory it's possible it was a test batch that didn't get mass produced. that's a damn good price...

I have a paddington also, and it looks authentic to me. I actually saw a woman who lives in my apartment building carrying one that looked real in that very color.
No, the leather looks wrong, it's really even and pebbled instead of wrinkled, and the hardware is too gold. Also the price is ridiculously low. They're still selling for 1500$ plus on ebay, why would someone sell one for 600$?

Umm... The leather on my paddington is wrinkley and pebbled. And the hardware really isn't gold, it is more of a brassy shade. I think it just looks more gold in comparison to this dark leather. And I really think one is dead on.
I just realized they offer a five-day return policy (-10% restocking), which makes me feel better about it.
The only thing holding me back is the color - I do want a bag that color, and I do want a paddington. I'm just not sure if the paddington should be the bag I get in that color. Does that make sense? I was also considering the Gaucho (dior) in the reddish hue but this would be a much better deal... do we like?

can you post a pic of the dior gaucho for a comparison? I do like this paddington a lot though...

But it doesn't quite do it justice. Check out this listing for better pics: http://cgi.ebay.com/Christian-Dior-Gaucho-Saddle-Equestrian-Bag-Handbag_W0QQitemZ6841188662QQcategoryZ63852QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It seems like the EBay seller is showing two different Gaucho bags, so I'd be careful of which one you will actually be buying.
The EBay seller shows this one, but in red, as well as the one posted from ELuxury above.

I came, I saw, I did a little shopping.
Just an FYI: Be careful...email the seller to confirm the 5 day return policy...later down the page it says "All sales Final!" I think that is referring to the under $100 items, but just make sure! Also notice there is a 10% restocking fee for returns.
Otherwise, I think it looks good...it would be worth a try.
If you compare the color of the hardware on the eBay bag to this picture from the Chloe website, they look very much the same:
It definitely looks authentic; I would be very suprised if it's not. Also, I like the Chloe bag WAY WAY WAY better than the other one you posted. If I could afford a Paddington, I think I would get it over most bags... and, like detroit said, it is a killer deal!!! How can you go wrong? (Considering there is a return policy)

Alright, that's great. Why's a bag that's in huge demand selling for half the retail though? And after the big spiel at the top about returns, why does it say at the bottom of the auction "No returns all sales final" in big red print? Vanessa, I would check out tFS's paddington thread, and post the bag in this thread: is this bag fake or authentic?

That was a great idea about contacting the seller. I think I'll do that to verify the return policy. At that price, the risk of losing 10% is worth it, IMO. I checked the fashion spot, but it said no ebay links. And it's probably for the better, I don't want to advertise that link all over the place and increase my chances to get in a bidding war. Thanks girls!
