Shorts with stacked heels?
Permalink Closed

Im seeing alot of pictures in magazines and such that shorts with stacked heels are a trend for spring\ summer. What do you think of this look? I do think wedge style shoes would look great, but may look "hookerish" if wear really stacked  heels with short shorts. I couldnt find any pictures online for example, but Im sure you have seen pics also, to get what I mean.

I think it just depends.  You kinda just have to try it to see if it will look good.  As a rough guide, I think the shorter the shorts, the shorter the heel.

I think it works best on shorter girls who need the height and with slouchier shorts.

i totally agree with this....if the shorts are tight, or even just fitted, it might not look so nice. and i would try to stick with wooden stack heels, rather than a strict leather pump as well.

it depends. i would have to say try the shorts & the heels together and see how it looks. it also depends on what else you're wearing. shorts+heels+tons of cleavage...not so good. but shorts, heels, and a slouchy top could look fab. but then again i'm also not one of those people who believes you *have* to wear a mini with flats.

IMO, it really does depend on how it looks on you but generally I'm not a fan.

i think it looks cute.

if you are extra conservative with the top part of the outfit, that may take away the hooker feel.

but the shorts do need to be slouchy.

i'd wear it, but don't have great legs.

Hmmmm...depends...are we talking stacked heel sandals?  Or actual full on pumps?  Cause I would do (have done) the sandal thing for sure.  But I don't think I'd feel comfortable walking down the street in shorts with regular pumps.  I'll have to dig out my summer clothes and see if I like the look.
