ok, i am going to my friends baby shower in two weeks and it is co-ed and in a really upperclass town. it will be a bit dressed up. i am 7 months preggo and need some outfit advice. i am a big 7 months. these are my two favorite pairs of pants right now and i was really hoping to wear something comfortable but not look like a fashion challenged fat person. price is no object.
i have been refusing to wear flats. i can do a high heel. and i have a huge shoe wardrobe. i have been collecting shoes rediculously for the past 4 months. since i grew out of anything cute.
I am just a little less preggo than you. Yesterday I bought this shirt at Motherhood and I really like it. I also got a little white eyelet shrug to wear with it (not on the website).
Since the shrug wasn't on the website and so you could get a better idea of what the outfit actually looks like, I put it on and took pictures. I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but I hope this helps. Oh, and please excuse the mess. The pictures were taken in my husband's office ('nuff said!).
i really like the anthro top that relrel posted. that is so cute. the only thing i can think of that might be a problem, is if the shirt doesn't strech at all. but i think i might order it and see for myself. if nothing else i can save it for after the baby is born. also, i saw this on the mimi maternity site but i cant find the top anywhere on the site.
First...trisaratops you look so you cute.... Second...I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and I have the same clothing dilemma....I usually wear tanks with cute shrugs or cardigan HHobbes...when are you due?
i am due May 4. i think. i am pretty sure it is right in there. i am working with midwives and every time i see a different one they move me forward or backward a week or two. but the one i like the most says May 4 and it makes sense to me.
i just wanted to throw a little "yay for midwives" in here! it always makes me so excited to hear that women are using midwives. ive thought so many times about becoming a doula, but the time constraints with me in school are just not the greatest. but when im out and working somewhere, ill totally go through the training. why do you keep going to different ones? is it a midwifery dept at a hospital?
