help me find bedroom curtains

Okay I found my bed set, I need curtains to go with it because I did not like the ones that matched it. My walls are white and my bedroom suit is a cherry wood if that helps. I want something that is not to dark I want to brighten the room some.It was 89.99 for the whole set with out the sheets. I will find some somehwere else. My hubby did not like the light tan that match it The set includes

anyone - I really like this look of the sheer curtains and  the scarf draped at the top. My curtains are lined and it blocks all the light out it worked well when i had to sleep in the day when i worked nights. Now I want something light and airy-   


will this color look okay?

I like that bedding!  I think either of these colors would look fine.  I don't think they can be too dark since they are sheer and the light will come right through them.

i am not good at home decorating, so you can take this with a grain (or two) of salt! but is there any color in the bedding that you might be able to pick up on, like a pale green or light brown, or something more neutral? i like the look of the first photo you posted, but it seems like the room might feel overwhelmingly purple if you use it on the bed and curtains too.

i like the bedding by the way! especially those dotted big pillows in the back--it's a neat contrast of patterns.

Kate   I see your point and I agree  , Iam still trying to decide if I should go with a light purple or a cream color-
