I like those mikacat. how about a family shot in there? i think that would look really cute. Congrats by the way. when is the big day? do you know yet?
I love the first one. That is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. I think you should do a family shot for one of the side pictures.
This is off topic and maybe kind of a stupid question, but I'm stumped. It says on the card that the baby was born in January 2004, welcomed home in April 2004, and adopted in June 2005. Does that mean the baby was in the hospital from January-April? Or the adoptive family took him in in April, but the adoption became official the next June?
i like including pictures of the darling babe with the adoption announcement. and well, not to be terribly offensive...but the adoption announcment with pictures might stave off awkardness later on with people who aren't quite aware of the circumstances. unless, you are only sending out announcements to people who know the circumstances, if that's so then ignore me.
if i may ask...where are you going to finalize the adoption and pick her up? (im assuming you are adopting a girl) ive spent time in beijing but perhaps you are going to shanghai?

did you once say she will be 9 months old at the time of adoption? Anyway, I say do the first one, it's more of a showcase, and unlike newborn announcements, which of course are precious too, a 4-9 month old's takes the absolute best baby portraits, once they can walk they sometimes aren't so into getting their picture taken...but anyway, in other words, it would be hard to pick just one photo to share and you will definitely want to capture her beauty and show her off at such a great and temporary stage.

I think it means he was born Jan 2004 and in an orphanage or foster care until April 2004 when this family took him into their home, possibly foster care or a pending adoption and the adoption was finalized in June 2005.
Ours will just say born and the date and adopted and the date b/c our adoption will be finalized in china---i think in the middle of the two dates, I will put whatever province, China that she is born in.
