Okay, I worked their this holiday season for 3 months. Basically, everytime I worked, I bought a craploud of stuff because, hello, it's all 40% off for me. I've been trying to log on to view my all access pass and it keeps saying my password is wrong, then it emailed me my password and it's what I had been entering the entire time! I really don't want to call cs and bother with it either.

Here's the kicker; I get my coupon today. Since I spend almost my entire check there every week, I'm thinking I'd get a nice 40% off coupon. Um, yeah, it's a $15 off coupon! Gee, thanks. That'll really help off of the $300 worth of stuff I planning on buying.

Wow, I'm sorry; That sucks!  I hate their CS...Are there any special rules that apply to employees earning points at all?

Seriously though, that's just not cool of them

I sort of understand why they wouldn't want to give you a 40% off coupon since you were an employee while raking up the points.  Since you got the clothes at a huge discount while working there, earning the points were too easy.  Are employees even eligible for the Access Pass?

Yesterday when I was buying my stuff they wanted to see my identification to use the coupon.  I guess they are trying to prevent people from selling their coupons on ebay and using coupons that weren't issued to you.  I saved $47.56 with mine.  That girl even took 40% off sale prices which I don't think the coupon is allowed for.

It's good on sale prices, just not clearance stuff

Me being an employee has nothing to do with the pass. They encouraged us to use them everytime we bought stuff. And, if I got that 40%, I'm sure my old bosses would let me use it on anything in the store, even clearance and over $250.

Then why does it say excludes redline, clearance?

Sale prices aren't the same as redline or clearance (I know, confusing and weird). Using ae.com as an example, the section called "Clearance" couldn't be applied to the coupon. But anything that's in the regular categories (Skirts, pants, etc.) that's on sale DOES work with the coupon.

I found this out myself when I was on the phone with CS about my orders.
