I'm loving the belts Rar210 found in the shopping forum and the very thought of buying one made me wonder how everyone feels about belts in general.  I always think they look so cute on others but somehow they don't work on me. :(  Anyone else?

Kari and I were just discussing this topic. If I'm tucking my shirt in, then I'll wear a belt almost always. I think it makes me look thinner and more put together.


 


Kari, on the other hand, is a belt-a-phobe. I think they freak her out a little bit....

Only with very low-waisted jeans do I wear a belt, so as not to show crack to unfortunate passersby.  I can't wear them with regular rise pants because it looks weird - makes my hip area look huge, and my shirts cover them and it makes my stomach look bumpy.

I'm not consistent at all.  I wear them if my belt loops show or if I'm wearing an outfit that looks good w/ a belt slung over the top.


I hate wearing belts if my shirt is going to cover the belt at all.  Too lumpy.

well I like the look on other people and Iam starting to like it on me but iam not sure if it looks right . I even took a few shots with my bronze belt and a longer/looser fit shirt a little while ago. I will post it later to see what you ladies think. I was always unsure the best to wear them ,shirt tucked in or over the shirt

I don't always wear them but with some pants and jeans I think they add a little extra something to the look.  Most of my pants are low rise.  I do have a long torso.

I wear belts with shorter shirts--I think it looks more pulled together.  If my shirt covers the belt loops I don't wear a belt unless it is over my shirt.  Sometimes I like to wear a plain outfit and then my leopard belt or my boy scout belt, adds a little interest.

I wear belts for purely functional purposes. I've got an hourglass figure and a lot of junk in my trunk. I buy pants to fit the booty, but then the waist is way too big so I wear a belt. I wish I didn't have to wear them though.
