I'm always on the look out for cute dresses because I always have trouble finding ones that I like and that fit correctly when the need arises. I ordered this from bluefly and love it....I just got the package today so I'm counting that as weekend shopping

Thanks Elle for the tip but the kohls I went to was in houston-boo-hiss . I was there last week-end with my MIL and I did not get a chance to look at shoes- I wish I had because I just love them and what a great deal 7.00

I love that bubble skirt. I am wanting one that I can dress up or down. Do you think this one is too dressy? I can't really tell. Please post a review when you get it.

I got that skirt at Macys for 29 bucks and I don't think it's too dressy at all. It's definitely dressy enough to go out with but also casual enough for one of those days. It's made of cotton that's kinda thick and stiff. It isn't cheap looking/feeling either. It's not as "bubbley" looking like the xoxo website but if you wanted it to look like that, you can fluff it up. And I know this is a huge picture of the skirt but I think you can get a better idea:
If you decide to get it, you should size down. I also know that sfclinevandy has one too (her NYE outfit) but her's is either mini length or I'm just short (I'm 5'2). It hits me a little past my knee.

Glad to see you around again!
I got the hat at Nordstrom Rack - the brand is Preview Int'l, which is one of Nordstrom's house brands I think .

I did some damage w/ my mom this weekend. She needed to return some stuff at the mall and ended up with a cute Michael Kors bag. I went to every store in my mall that sold shoes and only Bloomie's had the Guess shoes that I've been slobbering over... they only had a size 9. But I did get some great stuff:
and these, but in brown w/ gold:
From BR:
and these, but cuffed:
From AE:
I also bought a brown skinny belt from the Limited and 2 shirts from H&M.
just a little fendi buckle bag... the others are too ginormous, this is the pouchette - which really works well for me since I don't carry a lot often (I'll use my choo and chloe for regular work days, but for going out, I like a little bag that is easily set down and carried.) this one is 5.25"x5.25" - yeah it's little, but frankly, I often don't need more than a small wallet (I have a great antique art deco sterling/gold/ruby cigarette case I use as a wallet for smaller purses), business card holder, lip gloss and maybe powder and lipstick - this is fine for that... also the chain can be worn short or long. I just love the buckle motif in the patent leather...

detroit- i that bag. i was intrigued by the bag, but i felt like the "standard" size was too bulky and too much going on. that one is PERFECT! great score!

I agree. I like the bigger ones but they just seem like so much. This one is perfect!
No real shopping for me but we did trade in DH's car for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ours is exactly like this one.
I got nervous and decided I would be more comfortable in a suit. I needed one anyway, so whatever. I was suprised at how hard it was to find one that fit nicely but this one is almost perfect. I'll hem the pants tomorrow and then bring the jacket to get tailored a little next week (sleeves are a little long). Oh, and does j.crew runsmaler than it used to? I remember their clothes being really big, and I hope I didn;t gain *that* much weight....

I think it does...when I've tried on stuff at J. Crew I usually have to go for the 4 or 6 even though in most other mall stores I wear a 2/4. My size hasn't changed in four years there, even though I've lost maybe 10-15 lbs.
As for me, I just replaced some staple beauty items at Sephora since I got my first paycheck at work. Taking BF in there was a great way for me to get in and get out. I don't think he would have appreciated me trying on all the pretty makeup and smelling all the fragrances.
$18
in Orgasm , of course $25.
Has anyone noticed that the price went up on both items? IIRC Nars blush used to be $22 and the Fresh deodarant was $16. I mean...this is ridiculous!
It's been awhile since I've bought anything, so I felt a little guilty for shopping. However, the good thing is I got to use a gift card I got for Xmas. Everything is from J. Crew.
Thanks to someones post about Macys having some good deals on shoes, I checked it out and got these on sale for 20 dollars! Best part is, I would have paid full price since i was looking for these exact style/type of shoes... So excited!
I also got this stuff from Urban
In turquoise
In Pink
A shirt similar to this, but its all white, with greyish silver diamonds, instead of hearts, super cool IRL.
Also picked up some Rosebud Salve, but in Strawberry flavor, didn't know they made it in that flavor! Can't wait to try it!
