my sister and i plan on taking tennis lessons in the spring.  my bf's parents don't speak english, so i'm planning on learning another language so that i can talk to them.  i like the idea of flower arrangements and cooking classes.

if I had lots of free time, I would: take classes (either at a cc or graduate courses), start my own business, learn to garden, learn to take decent photos, read and write constantly. I like LA Gal's suggestion of interning, too. It would be so fun to work in a cool field without worrying about advancement, office politics, etc.

Do you have dog parks near you? Those can take up a lot of time. The one I go to is a huge community, and they have all sorts of activities. I am sure Cheese would love it!

that's the same situation I'm in.  What language are you learning?  That should make your boyfriend see how special he is to you.

I was thinking about taking up photography. I wish I had done it sooner because then I would have some beautiful baby pictures of my daughter instead of ones that are off-centered or cutting off body parts.

I always think about taking up cooking or foreign languages, too, but I am so darn lazy.
