outfit for these pants?

I am at a loss- i bought them a while ago, didn't like them (off color, thin material), but somehow never got around to taking them back.




the color in the pic is not accurate, the pants are more the color of the following skirt- which isn't really my speed- but maybe if i built a cute outfit around them? any and all ideas welcome, thanks!

I have a very similar pair of pants from Gap, and I'm not crazy about mine either! Mine are lighter than yours, but they just look "off" with a lot of tops. The best outfit I made with mine was a long (lower-hip length) black 3/4 sleeve T, chunky necklace and bright red pointy flats. HTH!

i second hedvig, a navy top would look great with those pants.  or maybe a deep burgundy.
