this may be dumb of me, but can't you just use real seawater or make your own with seasalt?

Hmmm... I have a great sea water/salt water product at home I napped at a Sally's. I'll post the name of it when I get home. IMO, it's better than the John Frieda version, but since you're a loyal user, you'll have to see for yourself. The good news is it's only a few bucks. I bought it on the rec of the girls over at MUA.

lindsayp, Ocean Waves has oils and also the greatest smell ever!! It's all coconutty! I love it. I doubt real ocean water would smell that good.

blubirde, yes, please give me the name of the other stuff. Does it smell like coconut?? Has anyone ever used the Bumble & Bumble version?

I have used the B&B stuff - it's good. It didn't smell like coconut though

that would have made it great. I would try it - it looks like we have similar hair and it gave me a pretty good tousled/wavy look. HTH!
