I usually listen to news or talk radio in the car (I have XM) but this morning I decided to listen to the Top 20 station.  I listen to it on the way to or from work a couple times a week.  I don't really like anything they play, I guess I just find it kind of amusing and easy to sing to.  Anyway, this morning I heard what can pretty much be described and the most wretched song ever.  It was called "In Luv wit a Stripper."  Has anyone else heard this?  A lot of the Top 40 stuff is bad but still amusing (I laugh everytime I hear Grillz and I'll admit that i know most of the words even though I hate the song) but this was just.......I can't even think of a word for it :)  Where do they come up with this stuff??  Here are the lyrics, in case anyone is wondering.

I couldn't believe the first time I heard this on the radio!  I also try to listen mostly to talk radio because I can't stand the smut that's on the radio, but this takes the cake.  I am so afraid to have children and bring them into this garbage can of a world we live in.  It's just sad.  The worst thing is, I remember listending to ONLY B96 (our popular rap/pop radio station in chicago) when I was like 11 and 12!!!!  I can't even imagine finding my 11 year old listening to this!! Oh what this is probably doing to our youth!!!

I agree that it's really degrading and I'm kind of sad that this is the type of music that seems to be the most popular. I wanted my husband to hear it because we always talk about awful songs we hear so I searched for it on iTunes so I could play him the clip and I saw that this is the 12th most downloaded song. There's something seriously wrong with that.
