my best friend is home sick with the flu and I wanted to swing by later this afternoon with some goodies but I am not sure what?


Im sure she doesnt have much of an appetite....any suggestions?

I would bring stuff to keep her entertained. Maybe like a coloring book and crayons, magazines, maybe a book, word search book things like that. Maybe some hard candies she can suck on until she gets her appetite back?

I was thinking the same thing...perhaps magazines, a movie or two.  A selection of hot tea perhaps?

maybe some big fuzzy slipper socks.  Those are always nice to have to keep warm!!  Maybe an old but classic DVD or movie like Ferris Buhlers Day Off?

My mom and I put a care package together for her friend one time that included all the trashy magazines like the Star, National Enquirer, as well as crossword puzzle books, etc.


Maybe a Sudoku book and a few "good" magazines and a few celebrity ones, like People or US Weekly.  Oh, and maybe a can of chicken noodle soup!


PS--That's really thoughtful of you to bring her a basket when she's sick!
