I had sort of given up on visiting my boyfriend since I couldn't find any good deals and I want to save money so we can go to Italy in June. But...I found an airfare on Travelocity/Air France for February and March which would come to $300 total and which is sitting in my cart right now. Should I scoop it up even though I haven't paid my credit card off yet and it will set me back on my savings for another trip? Or should I try to have willpower and just wait to see him when he comes home in mid-April?? He hasn't responded to my email and I can't figure out how to call France from my phone at work, so I'm turning to you guys.

PS Maddie I didn't see the same fare for London.

cc--it's only money--you should do it.  that's a great fare, and you will pay off your credit cards soon enough.  plus, you have to take advantage of your vacation days--go!!!

Go!!! It's not that much money, so you can definitely recoup it by the time June rolls around, don't you think? I say go for it. You don't get to see your boyfriend very often so take any opportunity you can. Have fun!

OK...I just bought my ticket. I'm going for a week at the end of Feb-beginning of March. I was sad before because I didn't think I could deal with not seeing him for 3 months so now I'm really excited. But I'm still dreading my credit card bill. Oh well, hopefully I'll be getting a tax refund soon. I'm glad you all encouraged me - it makes me feel better about spending the money!
