I HATED Cara's dress.

This one totally disappointed me. I thought it was such a cool challenge cause there were kind of parameters, but basically every designer could do what they wanted. I don't think anyone really created anything that I loved.

I was also totally disappointed in Santino. I always defend him, but this one sucked and it should have been his chance to shine. I love that he admitted how much his Sascha Cohen dress sucked.

I thought Daniel had a cool concept, but it was totally unflattering and weird on her. I was surprised they liked it and that he won. But I love him so it's fine. I love when he was like, "It's a motherf***ing walk-off!"

I was kind of surprised Zulema was eliminated. Her dress was totally awful, but so was Kara's and Zulema has shown a lot more potential in the past.

Jay is obnoxious. He thinks he's hot shit, but I haven't heard anything about him since last season.

me too. It was awful!!! and not "designed" at all- it was so plain and blah.

I agree! No thought was really put into it, I thought she would've been elimnated, but I guess the judges felt otherwise. I LIKEd the colors in Santino's dress, but nope - didn't really like it either.

OMG. maddie, you are right. jay was SO obnoxious. i always liked him — until last night, that is. honestly, who the hell does he think he is?

i loved daniel's dress and he deserved the win. i think he best translated his inspiration photo into a garment. i would have chosen zulema to be out too, even though kara's dress was way hideous — but at least she had a concept!

also, i've never paid much attention to the whole model part of the competition, but the stealing of nick's model really got me thinking about what will happen next week. nick's model (tara, is it?) is really good and now she might be out if daniel chooses to stay with his model. interesting.

i agree with everything that you said. i always defend santino too, but this one was lacking. that being said, i do think they need to give him just one break, by not keeping him till the end though. every episode he's up there at the end, and they always keep him.

i love daniel v. i hope him or chloe wins it. i think this would have been a cool episode if that science girl was still in it. (her voice is annoying, but i think she was better than kara is).

zulema and emmit i think walked into the show pretenious a$$h*les. they were so cocky because i think both of them went to parson's or had some kind of formal training, so i'm glad she was booted.

i know that kara has an underwear line that is sold at some chicago lingerie stores, and jay is going to have his own show starting soon. it's a good thing he was wearing a hat last night to disguise how big his head has gotten!

Its interesting because I enjoyed this episode more than any of the others so far.You could see the transformation in all these characters- namely Santino. I think he is becoming humbled by this experience. When he went in he was so sure that his creativity and ego alone would carry him. He is seeing that what he is creating has to fit a marketabe audience, that there are paramaters to follow in any form of design, and that your ego is not enough to convince others that what you have produced is remarkable. I think it is always better to think highly of what you can create than to doubt yourself so much that you never even try. But his designs are so over the top and conceptual, that they border on the gaudy and would never see the light of day. In Santinos case, he needs to learn the rules before he can break them.

And Nick, his lack of confidence in himself under scruntity really showed that he may not have the will to be successful. He takes criticism hard, and this alone may take him out. He was again " lackluster".

Daniel just totally impresses me. When he gets criticism he smiles, nods, and has the confidence to adjust. I thought his orchid concept was great and the outfit he created was beautiful. He is only 25 and has no emotional or egotistical hangups( baggage ) to overcome. Im impressed with him.

I was bummed that Zulema was kicked off -- Even though her dress was fug it wasn't as bad as Kara's.

I think that Michael Kors and the chick from elle both have a soft spot for santino and that's why he's hasn't been booted. I mean, the dress he made was hideous. The high waist and the ugly white strap. I think they're keeping him around because he makes for good TV more than because he's a good designer.

Jay is just nasty and has transformed himself into a hyper obnoxious carson kressley.

I was cheering at the end. I absolutely despised Zulema. I never liked any of her designs. I agree that Kara's dress was too basic tho. I suspect that Kara will go next week.

I was so annoyed by Jay acting so high and mighty. I was really glad when Heidi pointed out that he had made the same excuses when he was on the show.

I was a little bit dissappointed with the way the designers handled the challenge. This seemed to be a challenge where they could really show off their talent and creativity, and none of them wowed me. However, I did think that Daniel's outfit was by far the best and I'm glad he won. I also like Chloe's dress. I actually think it would have been a much better challenge if they had had two days. I don't understand why this challenge only allowed for 6 hours to design and sew the garment when others have been two days.

I don't understand Santino. I think it is great that he is finally listening to the judges, but he started out so strong and his designs are getting worse every week. My husband hates him with a passion, he says that his designs always make the models look like they have huge asses.

i haven't watched the episode yet, but i think i would have tried to steal tarah if i were on the show, too--she has been (imho) the best/most cooperative/prettiest model from the beginning.

i just looked at the still pics on the bravo site--none of them look very good, actually, except maybe daniel's. santino's looks like something austin scarlett would have made.

I agree with you. I never liked Zulema. I never liked her attitude or her "I don't usually do this type of stuff" excuses all the time. IMO, she's just lucky others were worse than her up to now. I'm glad she's gone.

As for the dresses, I liked Daniel's, Andrae's, and Chloe's designs. I agree Chloe could have done better with more time but I liked her concept.

I also think the designers weren't too ambitious with their designs, but I think they're afraid to go too far out for fear of being kicked off. I'd play it safe, too. There's just as much chance you could hit the mark as miss it when you're talking high fashion/conceptual fashion.

I hope Daniel chooses Zulema's model next time. But then what? His model goes home? That doesn't seem fair. I don't like Zulema. Although I'd probably change models if I had a chance, too.
