My friend is going on her honeymoon to fiji, so for her shower i wanted to put together a bunch of travel-y stuff for her. I'm thinking the kind of stuff that makes traveling easier and more comfortable (since they are going to be on some LOOOOONG flights), that you don't remember to bring but realize you need when you're actually traveling.
My ideas so far: fiji guide book (i'm thinking lonely planet) a flower essence formula for jet lag some kind of immune system booster -- airborne, echinacea, vitamin c, etc. a probiotic supplement to help prevent tummy problems cute sleeping masks and neck pillows for the plane (any suggestions?) a few magazines or books cute luggage tags
Oooooh, DH and I had a blast playing hand held trivia games like movie, music, TV, etc. You can probably find cheap ones at like Target or Walgreens. They also have mini traveling games like simon, cards, all kinds. Those are really fun and a nice break from reading. Also, it's something they can do together which is the honeymoon theme!!
Passport cover? Things I always take when I travel, but aren't fun at all... Mini lotions Wet wipes Freezer zip locs (these ALWAYS come in handy) Woolite Maybe a nice organic bug spray? I personally believe nothing but DEET works, but that's me. Also maybe a nice facial suncreen?
I like the Evian mist for my face on long flights. It perks me up.
Maybe a "freshen up" kit with travel size toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, small face towel for the plane. I always feel better after I wash my face and brush my teeth in the loo.
