I don't know if anyone else on here is a reality tv junkie like I am , but I was watching American Idol last night and I noticed one of the girls that was told she was going to Hollywood was on the first season of MTV's Making the Band 3. Her name was Tyra and she was the one with the really long black hair who got cut in the beginning because she couldn't dance.


Okay, I'm sure no one knows what I'm talking about but I always think its funny when I spot people on multiple reality shows.


On another note, I thought that one guy who sang that MJ song off-key and was holding all his notes for days was hilarious. Especially when they asked him if he had ever taken vocal lessons, and he said," Well, actually I bought the Randy and Paula dvd." Simon about died.

That was quite hilarious.  He just couldn't let it go, he kept referring to him as Randy and Paula's "pupil."  Heh.  But I Simon.


Was that the girl who was telling Ryan that she called her bf and the girl he was cheating on her with answered?  And she'd just had surgery or something?  I can't even remember what she sang.  I remember her being okay but not fantastic.


No one has really blown me away yet, except maybe that girl who is Ann Nesby's granddaugther (is that the story?).  That girl could sing.

That girl gave me chills.  She also had a beautiful demeanor to match her voice.

Oh my gosh. That was so funny. I could not stop laughing. After the guy got rejected he went to destroy the dvd. haha

That teeny blonde girly was pretty good, too IMO.


And they should NOT have followed that 'Lil Kim lookalike around for so long.  What was she thinking?!  She looked like a hooker, and had a mouth to match !


And can I just say, I can't seem to watch this show without crying!  It's ridiculous !

She was amazing. But don't you think that if your Gran was a 3x Grammy winner that you would already have an "in" in the music industry and wouldn't need American Idol?


That guy with the Randy and Paula DVD was hilarious. And the potty-mouth girl was just disgusting

Yes! That's her! The one with the really long black hair. She sounded better on Idol than she did on MTB3 but she was still nothing special.


I agree with everyone about the girl who was chanelling Billy Holiday. I mean, wow!


The only thing that is starting to suck about this show is that it is getting predictable and staged. There don't seem to be any classic moments (William Hung or the Like a Virgin guy) thus far.
