Detroit.. Honey.. and anyone else..MBA question
Permalink Closed

I am going to meet with an MBA school advisor tomorrow and ive prepared a bunch of questions to ask, but i can't help but feel like im forgetting some things to ask... off the top of your head is there any thing you feel like i should ask? Remember i know pretty much nothing about it.

Here are my questions so far:

What spring and summer courses to take?

When to take the GMAT?

When to apply to program?

Help design curriculum based on incorporating my PharmD program

How competitive is admissions?

Possible career opportunities for pharmD + MBA?

I really feel like i should have more questions to ask for someone who doesnt know much about the program.

you should ask them about what they look for in students.  also ask about what distinguishes their program from other schools. lots of schools take pride in certain aspects of their program, and if you can figure out what they stress it will help you determine if the school is a good fit for you.

hi nicoley013,

I would also ask if they provide any career services, career placement or on-campus recruiting..

Also ask if they provide networking opportunities for the students.  That was one of the things that attracted me to the MBA program I'm in.

Possibly ask what their ranking is compared to other programs in the country, if that interests you.

Now that I've written this, I realized that I'm posting a day late!  Duh..sorry about that, I hope meeting went well!!
