Yesterday, while at Nordie's, I tried on these shoes in both tan and green:
I thought I wanted tan until I saw them IRL. The tan looked a little beat up/discolored, but the green really caught my eye. It's a really pretty sage green and I fell in love.
Now, I need you girls to help me - what could I wear w/them if I bought the green? I don't wear a lot of green, so can you help w/me outfits/colors? I have to justify spending $99 on them, by knowing I can make them work.
I dont have any specific outfit ideas, but i love the green... and in all honesty, I think this particular green color is a very neutral green color, if that makes sense, and id think you could wear them with pretty much anything youd wear the tan with. And i definitely think the green is a good choice, unless you have darker skin, the tan sandal might get lost on your foot, and the green might look more flattering, colorwise.

nicoley - that's one of the reasons I did not like the tan - my skin color is pretty light and it pretty much blended in right w/the shoe color!
i love the distressed faded looking green for spring. i would say those and some white capris or a black wrap dress. i could see those working with capris on so many levels. they would look great with a tan suit or high waisted pencil skirt witha a sheer orangey red blouse or a sheer cream colored blouse. i really think anything in an orangey red would look great with these shoes.
think about what you would wear fatigue cargo pants with, or a green handbag with. i agree, it's pretty neutral, so i think you could wear it with anything...
grays, whites, pinks, tans, denim, etc...

I agree with Nicoley013. I love the green ones and I think they're pretty neutral and that you can wear them with whatever you would wear the tan ones with. I love blue and green together, and I think they'd look great with the blue anthro shirt you wore in your TS post. They'd also look good with most shades of pink, brown, and grey.

Oh that totally helps shopgirl82! I hadn't thought to think of what I wear my green cargo pants with, and that's a lot!
I have the tan ones - I'm surpised they looked discolored - I know mine don't. I'm pretty pale at least until I get me weekly Mystic Tan and I think there going to look great - especially since the stylists have said a natural color shoes lengthens the leg (because it blends)- which I need all the help I can get!! And they literally look great with everything I've tried them with!! Sorry they didn't work for you!
But I really like the green too and checked them out online today wondering what I could wear with them.
I may be ordering them myself to try with my spring wardrobe - I'll use Zappos since it's free shipping and returns!! (I use them all the time for "trial" runs on shoes)

I shouldn't say discolored - I don't know how to explain it..they just weren't one even tan color. I dont know how to say it! Anyhow, I normally like tan shoes, but these just didn't do it for me.
I do like green ones so much - I just fell in love w/them.
BTW - did you have to size down at all. I tried on a 7.5, my normal size, and when I walked, my heel flew out of them!

I was looking at them last night and there probably more of a distressed Natural color - kind of like the green looks a little distressed. I actually got my normal size - 6. Let me know if you get the green, I'm thinking of getting them too!

Yeah, the tan were distressed and that's what I didn't like I guess. The green aren't like that. Anyhow, I'll let you know when I buy them!
