Chocolate brown crib sheet
Permalink Closed

I need a chocolate brown crib sheet. I was going to do her nursery in reds and pinks but the house in Chicago has the cutest little room that would be perfect for a nursery and it is white, brown and pink. I don't want to redo the nursery b/c we won't be in this house long. Has anyone seen chocolate crib sheets?

I found some at Dwell but they are striped. I kind of just want plain chocolate. I can get them custom made but it is about $40---a lot for a crib sheet!!

I haven't started looking yet, but if I find any I'll let you know cause pink/brown/ivory are the colors I also plan on using if the baby is a girl

Okay I hate to be Debbie Downer about this but I think you are going to have a really hard time finding a chocolate brown crib sheet, mikacat.  I looked online all the time for a more modern color scheme (i.e. chocolate) and it was IMPOSSIBLE to find something that wasn't in baby-ish colors, let alone a solid color.  Dwell is the only line I can think of that might have something similar, but I doubt it will be a solid color, it will be a print most likely.  so my point is, it's difficult to find chocolate brown b/c it's not "babyish" and it's even more difficult to find a solid color cribsheet (unless it is white) IMO.  Therefore I think you should just get that one made for $40.  $40 isn't bad if you consider that you will be using it all the time.  JMO.  I will keep my eye out for you though!

On another note, how is life in the windy city???

What about dying a solid white one? Liquid Ritt dye would work, it will hold it's color and is safe and non toxic. I don't think you find one anywhere unless you have them made to order.

mikacat, originally I wanted to do brown but had a very hard time finding bedding besides the dwell bedding as well. Since then PBKids has this I think it kind of a pique with chocolate trim, it could go well with your scheme:
