Super Bowl Parties?
Permalink Closed

I'm hosting a Super Bowl party and I don't know what to serve. I had one last year and was volunteered to do it again this year. I didn't know what to serve last year and I don't know what to serve this year. Any ideas ladies? It's for around 13-15 people. Thanks!

In the past I've served chilli, sloppy joes, 7-layer nacho dip and chips, veggies and dip, etc..  I have a meatball recipe that is super simple, but everyone always raves about them.

Meatball appetizer

  • 1 bag frozen cooked meatballs (I like Simek's the best)

  • 1 bottle Heinz Chilli Sauce

  • 1 jar Grape Jelly

Mix equal parts chilli sauce and jelly in sauce pan and heat until jelly "melts" and combines with chilli sauce.  Stir in meatballs until they are coated with sauce.  Transfer meatballs to crockpot and cook until heated through.. about 1-2 hours.

HTH!

Also, if you google superbowl party food lots of stuff comes up - most food companies (just like kraft) have menus. Are you going for really casual finger food or are you making a meal?

My family is Italian so they expect a meal (or several different meals)! Lucky for me my mom is nice and bring *some* food!
