I've been wanting a trench for spring - I actually don't own one. I had been leaning towards white - but white scares me a little! What do you think of this?
I bought a white one last year and I always felt like a Dr. or a Scientist. But I am not really excited about the wash on the dark one, what about a tan one?
I'm not too crazy about the wash either. I have a tan one I bought last year. It works better in my wardrobe and I find it to be more versatile. Just a thought.
ETA: I'm such a dork, I mean I bought it the year before last year.
Ooh, I like the Gap one, and I wouldn't be too scared of white. I'm a total clutz, but I wear it all the time. It's not that hard to keep clean, and it's easier than other colors to clean if you do get somethign on it. Plus it's always so striking. Anyway, the first trench is cute if you have a very casual style, but I could see it being somewhat limited in the outfits you can make.
yeah, im not feeling the wash/color on that blue trench, and the belt looks funny to me.
on a side note, that gap trench is funny. beautiful...but funny. gap thinks that it will sell out so fast that they set up a special waitlist hotline for it! maybe it will be that popular, but really, a waitlist for a gap trench?

I like the first trench, it's definitely different, but still more versatile than the printed one. The only thing I'm not crazy about are the shoulder things-- but that might just be how they look on the model

It's cute but I agree that a khaki, white, or even olive trench would be more versatile. You wouldn't be able to wear this one with jeans and the wash might look off with some shades of grey and blue.
