Just a little while ago my sister and I were taking the trash from our backyard to the front sidewalk. Our chihuahua was there with us. All of sudden this women is walking on the other side of the street with her dog. My chihuahua runs across the street and starts barking at the dog. It was so dark outside (the nieghbors had yet to turn on the porch lights), all I see was the woman rubbing her leg. I have a feeling my dog nipped her. I asked her if she was okay, and she just glared at me and walked off.
About eight minutes later someone is knocking on my front door, I went downstairs to answer it, and it was the woman with two other ladies. Th young woman to the right of me flashes her flashlight towards the womans leg. Thank God no bite mark!!!!!!!!!! It turns out the woman is probably deaf, she couldn't speak. But the other two women didn's say a word. I explained to them what happened and how I went to lady and asked her. Then the woman look at the other lady, sort of looking at her to see if that was true. Then woman who got nipped just put her hand up (signaling to forget it) and proceeded to walk off. The other women followed her, and I told them, " You aren't going to say anything at all?" Nothing, they left.
I am freaking out right now, this has never happened in the 6 years we have had this dog. I am so scared they are going to take my chihuahua away. I wish I could go back time.
that's really weird! hopefully they can't do anything about it, since there is no bite mark. I would suspect it would be a hassle for them to do so anyway....since they might be deaf??

dont worry. she has no mark and therefore no case. my childhood dog bit a neighbor to the point he needed stitches and we still kept the dog (until it happened again)
