What's the best way to cook frozen asparagus?

Hmm, when we get frozen it usually comes in it's own microwaveable plastic container ...

If yours doesn't have that, I'd just steam it.  IMO boiling asparagus (especially frozen) can make it mushy.

How long do you steam it for?  I did that the other night, but it seemed like they got a little overcooked...

Also, do you put anything on for flavor?

Yeah I normally put different seasonings on depending on my mood. My favorite right now is a lemon pepper. Also I don't have a set time, I normally just let it cook until it turns a bright green.

I usually just put a little kosher salt on after they're done cooking, and maybe a squirt of lemon juice.

No set time really, but they cook quick.  I let 'em go for a couple minutes and then poke them with the tip of a sharp knife - I pull them off as soon as the knife punctures easily, but I like mine pretty raw.  Just take them off when they reach a consistency that you'd want to put in your mouth - you can use a fork to poke them if that helps you judge more easily .
