I need some feedback. I really will put together a get together if some of you are interested. I think we decided June is a good time - I can do any weekend in June except the 17th (my hubby bday). So tell me what is best for you. Also - I am assuming that since some of you are coming from other places that it will be an overnight deal. I was thinking of getting a big suite & everyone just kind of pitch in & do it as a slumber party, but my DH thought people would think that was weird - does everyone want to be responsible for their own room? Or do the suite thing like I'm thinking? The Marriott actually has a "slumber party" thing & the Westin has suites as well - they probably don't expect it to be like 20 people, but we could sneak in! Both hotels are near the Galleria - although there is WAY more / different shopping here than that.

Thoughts?

Oh I'm all for a slumber party idea laken.  maybe leave it up to people individually if they don't want to slumber party in the suite to tell you and they can make other arrangements themself.  I can't do June 24th weekend.  All others I'm open for

okay count me in for the slumber party, when I saw this post i was jumping in my chair, my hubby thought I had lost it for a sec.yes june is fine with me excpect the weekend of the 17-18. 18th is Chris b-day-

Well if hello kittie comes with me we might get our own room, I will let you know soon. Also we are coming from Point Comfort and it is a 6 hr drive for us  we might want to come leave Friday and spend friday night and rest before the big event

I looked up tickets out of curiousity and they are only about $150 so if we did the suite thing I would most likely be able to come. I wouldn't be able to afford to get a room by myself though.

WOW - I'm SHOCKED that this Texas ST event will actually take place! YEAH! I'm FREE all weekends in June, so it's cool. I'd love to share a room w/ANYONE, I'll be coming in from A-TX. (Austin), so.......... There's my input. I may see if I can get a girlfriend of mine to ride w/me, I hate traveling alone, it's about a 2-3 hr. drive.

I think earlier in June would work better for me.  I'm game for the slumber party thing or me and HeatherLynn can share a room.  All I request is comfortable sleeping quarters since I'll be pretty round by then

Oooh, how fun! You can prob count me in as well, though I won't know for sure til a lil closer to the date. Houston gals, keep in touch so we can figure out how we want to get there... If we don't carpool.. Southwest Air has like $80something roundtrip airfare! That's not too bad!

That's what I was thinking so I figured it might be easier for us to get a room and just hang out with them all the time (but yet you have a nice bed to sleep in and not feel squished!!).  But, that is entirely up to you since you are the preggers one!

I'm in for whatever but I'll probably get my own room since the boy will come to visit his friends in Dallas at the same time. Sounds like so much fun!! I think I have a family reunion in June but I'm not sure what weekend... I'll get on that.


After consulting my "calendar" I *think* the first or last weekend in June would work best for me. Yay!! Excited!
