L: Meeting FP for lunch, probably a salad and I MUST have one of the rolls at the restaurant


S: I have a boiled egg and some yellow bell pepper strips


D: Since I might be bad a lunch (or even if I'm not I will be this weekend) I am having a steak, grilled squash and zucchini.


E: cardio (30 min elliptical and weights)

Today turned out not as awfully as I thought. I ate lots of veggies only for dinner so the 2 cookies weren't too terrible.


B: 2 slices w/w light bread (1 point); 2 tablespoons whipped pb (3 points)


L: 1 can of green beans (0 points); lean cuisine roasted veggie pizza (6 points)


S: 2 cups of multi-grain cheerios (4 points) - these things are awesome! I sat here at my desk and nippled on them for 1.5 hours. And so yummy!


D: 2 cups whole wheat pasta (6 points); 1 cup tomato sauce (1 point); 1 orange (1 point); 1 banana (1 point)


E: Day 2, Week 3 Couch to 5k; plus some other cardio (total about 40-45 minutes cardio)

e:  went to the gym before work, 20 min on elliptical plus some machines, will do arms at home tonight

B:  Grape nuts w/ splenda and raisins, Orange Juice


S:  Two wafer/sugar cookies and some Pepsi (not a whole bottle though)


L:  Leftover spagetti from last night, tea


S:  Apple or a banana


D:  Grilled chicken tenderloins over a salad.


E:  Lunges, sit ups, arm weights at home.  It's insanely windy here today, so I'm not going to exercise outside.

this is the funniest thing.  i found the recipe last week and i marked it to try since it's sooo easy....cake mix was on sale today, so i decided to make it.  i am wiping chocolate cake crumbs off my face right now, no joke. 


here's the recipe....


Soda Cake


12 oz. diet soda (any variety)


cake mix (any variety).


mix the diet soda with the cake mix.  spray a pan, pour the batter into the pan, and bake according to the boxes directions.  check frequently.  when a toothpick comes out clean, it's finished (mine took longer and the toothpick wasn't entirely clean).


the "frosting" calls to mix 8 oz (one tub) of f.f. cool whip with any variety sugar free pudding (just the mix, don't make the pudding).  my bf and i didn't like it, my bf and i ate the cake plain (it was SUPER moist).  overall, i give it a B+, i think he'll give it a B- (he is pickier about his chocolate)


laken- it's actually a WW recipe.  it makes 12 servings and the WW points is 4. 


you should definitely make it.  i think i might try lemon cake mix with diet sprite next.

I didn't do so well today...for some reason, I wanted to eat everything in sight.


B:  kashi cereal


S:  light english muffin and smart balance


L:  manhattan clam chowder and yogurt


S:  carrots and string cheese and two snack size pieces of candy


S:  another english muffin!!


D:  hunan chicken without rice and wine


E:  No, unfortunetly


Hoping tomorrow will be better.

I make it the same way shopgirl does but I add two egg whites because it makes the cake stick together better.  Plus I make it into 24 cupcakes so each one is only 2 points (if you don't add icing).
