Which shoes (if any) would you pair with this dress? it's going to be a bridesmaid dress, so the shoes have to be walkable. (the dress is a dark brown)
1.urban $38 2.$35 @ macys 3.$65
4. $69 5.nine west $75
6.$69 7.$69
8.$36
we already tried 2,4, and 8 with the dress and love 4 but they are pretty hard to walk in, like 2 but not sure about the rough texture of that suede with the dress, and like 8 also but the bride is having trouble with the ribbon/tie thing.
i love 6 -- totally classic -- but would it work? and i like # 7 in suede. both these are a plus b/c they're only 2" heels
I think the first pair are too casual for a wedding, while the last 2 will make your overall look very "bridesmaidy." I'm also concerned that the wedge on the second one will be too clunky.
That being said, I really like the peeptoes (4th and 5th pairs) and the 3rd pair with the ankle strap (if you have long legs... otherwide the strap might cut off the flow of your leg line and make you look less tall).
IMO, though, that dress would look best with a pair of cute slingbacks, like the model in the picture is wearing, or something like this:
I wore these one weekend for an out of wedding 3 days in a row, and they were very comfortable:
just found these: 9.$50 10.$20 11. 12. the other bridesmaid has asked that we don't have open toe or an ankle strap, so we're taking that into consideration, but i think if we find something good she'll have to deal with it. (the ankle strap would not be flattering on her, so maybe stay away from that but there is not really a reason to not do open toe) i like the last one eurodaisy posted.
I feel like these are all too chunky for the dress. I agree with eurodaisy. I think it needs to be something more delicate.
I think these would look great with it. Since you aren't wanting an open toe, my next fav are these

I agree with FP and ShopChicago about the gold heels - they are beautiful and I think they will complement the brown nicely. Sometimes trying to match brown with brown is tough.

Number 3 has my vote. I personally would avoid leather and go with a fabric it tends to be dressier and much more appropriate with a bridesmaid dress even if it is not a traditional dress.
