have you caught your breath yet? ill admit i got a little scared at the end of the game but they pulled it out. it's been a while since ive yelled as much during a game. ill admit that even though indy is one of my fave teams, i love the players on the steelers so much and im so excited that they won. i sooooo hope that jerome gets his ring this year. very few people deserve it as much as him.

My mom is a huge Steelers fan (she gets sooo excited during the games- including screaming and yelling, and has a steelers 'punching pillow' for when she gets upset) and is sooo excited.  I called her to tell her congrats and she answered the phone by screaming "AHHHHHH!!!!!!!"  Oh, and I should note that we don't have caller id at home, so she had no clue who it was.    My dad is a Dallas fan so it is always interesting in our household because they still have that old 70s rivalry going on.

OMG.... Thank you so much for posting this!  I soo soo soo wanted to post something.... I am so unbelievabley excited about this win... Im almost too excited, feel like i just won the game or something, lol.  Jerome has to get a ring this year... and alot of people are saying he is destined to... i mean the super bowl is in his HOMETOWN! Detroit!  His parents still live there and everything, that would just be amazing...  I love the steelers so much and am so happy for them.. Can't wait till next sunday!  Thanks for posting again!

Yay!  I love all these pgh-girls!  I am just SO glad they won so that wouldn't be Jerome's last play of his football career!  That would have been so traumatic!!!

what an exciting game! i'm so stoked because the steelers can definitely take denver out now, and i don't think the nfc champs will be anything to write home about.

gosh, i so wish i could come back to pgh for the next three weeks or so. the whole freaking time i was out there we were not the greatest, remember kordell? as soon as i leave, they get good, dammit all to heck. and now im stuck in philly with stupid fat donovan. geez. i never thought id wish i still lived in pgh, but i just know that the whole city is going nuts.

i too am v. glad that the bus will play again, but has he formally retired after this year?  or is it just speculation?

Agreed.  That Polamalu call was C.R.A.P.  God, I love that man.  They are already calling Ben's Tackle the new Immaculate Reception caliber historic event! 


And I am not sure if the Bus has formally announced his retirement.  But damn, if his last play of his football career would have been that fumble, I seriously seriously would have cried!!!!!!


The Broncos don't stand a chance!!!  ;)
