7 Skirt- Review
Permalink Closed

i saw several of you post this as a possible spring buy and i wanted to review it for you since I tried it on last week.  i'm afraid the review isn't a positive one (at least for anyone with my body type)

if you have a booty (like i do), the start of the pleats will start at a VERY unflattering place on your behind.  it will make your ass look much larger than it should.

Also, it is a strange length.  The boutique owner asked me where it hit (below the knee) and he said that was what he was worried about it when it came in.  so plan to have it hemmed if the ruffle piece doesn't hit strange on your behind.  or if you have long legs- you can totally pull it off!

Hey Bex - I'm glad you posted a review of this.

How tall are you?  I'm 5'7 and the longest part of me is my legs..so I'm wondering if maybe the length will fit me right?  Also, I sadly have a teeny butt - maybe I can pull this off?  I want to order it from Nordie's, but now I'd rather try it on.

so if I have no butt and long legs, this will be great for me, right? I love skirts that hit just below the knee. But I don't have $175.

all of you guys will probably be able to wear this skirt with your LONG legs!  (i wish i was you!!)

I am 5'3 with a short inseam (31") and a booty   it looked like crap on me... totally frumpy b/c of the length and made my ass look really wide b/c of the seams...

and halleybird not that it is much difference, but the boutique i tried it on at had it priced for $160 instead of $175... i am sure you will be able to pick it up on sale somewhere though!

Thanks again Bex.  I'm heading to Nordstrom now, so I hope I can find it there to try on.

Bex - one more question I forgot to ask.  Did this skirt fit TTS?  Just wondering if your regular size fit you?  TIA!

That's exactly like me! That means no 7 skirt for me either...
