Sometimes a trend looks good on others but it doesn't on me, so I don't do it. Other times I don't like the look on anyone. This is one of those times. No offense to anyone who does like leggings, but it's just not my thing.

I came, I saw, I did a little shopping.
I wore leggings this summer under some boho dresses and let me tell you, Michigan was not ready for that trend. I got some weird looks. I love the primp leggings she has on.
I actually think it is pretty cute, and it is one of the few 80s trends I don't mind returning. I'm not sure if I'll do it tho. I'm not very trendy, so it might make me look like I'm trying to hard. Or it might just not look good on my body either.
Nope. I fully agree with zeitgeist - I don't think this really flatters anyone. I think it will be pretty short-lived and I don't do fads. I like longevity. *s*

I really hope not. Those would make my legs look even shorter! That, and they remind me of jr. high, when my "uniform" was leggings and a long sweater.
I've worn them w/ destroyed ultra-minis as late as last weekend. Works well to cover my fat, white legs! I'm still waiting to bust out my legwarmers, though.

Ditto. There's nothing worse than looking at a picture of yourself from a few years back and thinking "What was I wearing?!?!?!"
I do like the look. I am tempted to try them since it would be the only way I could ever pull off a mini, but I don't want to look like a teeny bopper...

That's how I feel too. It does conjur up some bad 80's memories...re the big sweater + leggings look, my dad would always ask, ummmmm where are your PANTS? But I remember, as a ballet dancer, we always cut off the bottoms of our tights and threw denim minis over our leotards. It was much more streamlined than the giant sweater thing.
And this look is one of my ALL TIME favorites from SATC. Carrie and Stanford go to the baby shower and the hostess makes them take off their shoes. She was wearing a dress just like the MJ above, cut off tights, and those gorgeous manolos that got taken.
i must admit i actually sort of like this look. im not sure if i'll be rocking it. i may feel a little old, and like laken said, if you saw the trend the first time, it may not be too cool to do it a second.
i have seen a lot of young high school girls rocking this trend. and they look CUTE! one girl yesterday was wearing a brown zip up sweater, denim mini, grey leggings and brown chuck taylors.... SO FREAKING CUTE!
however, my fat *ss will not be doing this trend!!!! i'm way too old and chubby for it!
I know I'll be doing it I actually do find it cute when it's done right, and since I've been looking for footless tights locally since last summer (Finally found some at Hot Topic for $6).....Yeah, I'll be rockin' them under my denim minis.

i can TOTALLY see you rocking this! it fits you to a "T"!
I don't know if I would feel comfortable in them, but I've seen them look really cute. I saw a girl in an outfit very similar to the one that Bex described and it was ADORABLE. I think the key is body shape/type and making sure that the leggings don't cut you off in an unflattering spot.
