Went to a screening of this last night and "ohhh"  if you are a fan of romance and period pieces, you'll like this one. If you liked Romeo & Juliet, Ever After, etc.. you'll prob love this one too.

Never really thought much of James Franco before this, but I'm now a fan!

so def. worth it to see it on the big screen?  i was going to wait for video on this one...

my BF and i make fun of the lines "how many did you love before me- none.  and after me- none" all the time... instead of none- we say "hundreds" all breathless and lovey like they do... it cracks us up!  lame i know!

I'm SOOO freakin' excited about this one.  Then again...I won't get to see it until it comes out on DVD...so I'd better avoid this thread. :(

omg, my bf and I make fun of those exact same lines. Sooo cheesy! But we were convinced by some friends to go watch it with them last night. James Franco is a hottie! All in all I thought it was good- better than I expected. I cried a little and tried to restrain myself from laughing during the "How many did you love before me" part, heehee...

I went to see the opera about 8 years ago but I don't remember much about it.  I can't even remember what language it was in.  Hmmm....might have to go see it as a movie

I want to see this, thanks for the review.  I've been a fan of James Franco since Freaks & Geeks.  Such a scoop of hotness in real life too

I just saw this on Friday night and it was good.  A little more fighting than I thought it would end up being.  Anyway Janey I described it to my bf (without the title) as a movie just like Kingdom of Heaven - period piece with fighting and a little romance
