My doctor has decided to make my last day at work this Friday! Although I am a little scared about what happens while I'm on STD financially, I am so glad! My daughter will be so excited Iget to be home with her for a while before the baby comes, and I happy to have some exclusive time with her too! YAY!
Oh, I am so glad for you! I was beginning to get worried about all the walking you said you had to do at work! Enjoy your time off and let us know when the baby comes!!

Honestly I think my doctor was just waiting for me to say something. Right away he said since I'm high risk he has no problem signinn me out. There is not technical problem right now except for a concern the baby may come early. I've been having a lot of contractions but so far they do not seem to have caused any dialation so...I want to keep her in there until at least 38 weeks. This means I need to worry about me not work, and my doctor is all for that.
Of course I'll let you guys know when the baby arrives. Actually you may be seeing a lot more of me becaue i can be online all the time at home!
Good for you! I remember really wanting to be on bedrest. I was practically begging my doc to tell me I could quit working early and they just kept saying "nope", I didn't need to stay home and that I could work right up until my due date if I wanted to (I think they thought it would be less hassle for them if I were preoccupied and therefore less likely to call them w/ questions, etc. which is pretty lame I know). Anyway, I really felt like I should be on bedrest though or at least stop working and of course I was right b/c my water broke 3 1/2 weeks early AT WORK. So, I say the sooner you can stay home the better b/c you never know when your little one will decide to make her grand entrance into the world!
