Opinions Needed on Cocktail Dress

Hi Everyone,


I need your help. I need a new cocktail dress as my old one is a size 2 and my boobies are falling out of the top. I have been shopping for about a week and so far accumulated 3 dresses please vote for which one you like best. If you do not like any please say so as well. If you have suggestions I appreciate them. I have tried on so many dresses and a lot of the style that are popular just do not work on me at all.  I am willing to keep all or return them all sort of up in the air.


I may continue looking for the perfect LBD, but I do need a dress by January 21 to wear to my FI boss's daughter and son's bar/bat mitzvot

I like dress 2 out of the three you posted.  Do you want it to be black or will other colors work? 


I have this one from White & Black and I love it Dido Contrast Dress


I tried this one on that was similar but was completely black with kind of an black imprint all over it (I can't really describe it) but it was really nice on. 


From the pictures the first and third dress kinda make your hips look big but that might just be the way you took the picture.

I think both #1 and #2 look great on you. I can't tell for sure if the BCBG dress is brown or black but it looks really fun and cute. I voted for #2, though - it looks so elegant on you.

I really like #2...it's classy and a bit sexy at the same time. Dress #1 seems kinda young and I don't think #3 is as flattering as the others. All cute dresses though!

I agree - #2. It's the most timeless and flattering, IMO. #1 is also a fun dress, but I would take back #3.

I agree with everyone else - keep 2 & return 3, althought it's a pretty dress, that #2 just looks stunning on you. And if it were me, I'd keep #1 as well, although even more so if it's brown. I think it's fun & different & if you think you'll have somewhere to wear it fairly soon, I'd keep it.

As someone who has attended way too many bar/bat mitzvahs, I think number 2 is definitely the most appropriate and looks the best on you IMO. Actually, I think #1 also looks fantastic on you, but for some reason I think almost everyone wears black to bar/bat mitzvahs, especially if they're at night.

i like dress #1 the best, but i saw this one recently and it is beautiful in person.

The BCBG dress is black the picture was hard to take because of the reflection and the shine from the brooch.


I am definitely keeping #2 and I will prob take #1 to my tailor to see if he can adjust the straps to make it fit better for me in the top as it is loose and has to be adjusted because my shoulders and boobs are uneven.


#3 will probably go back even though it is on sale if I also take back #1 then I can buy some great shoes


TASHINA - Do you know if Davids keeps that dress in stock or does it have to be ordered - it is really cute!
