Running Bras
Permalink Closed

I have just taken up jogging/running and I need a good sports bra. I tried a whole bunch on at Sports Authority tonight and I still was moving too much for my comfort. I am only a B, so I am not sure where to look.

Any ideas? I had tried on some that said they were for maximum intensity but I still moved too much? Does this exist or am I crazy? TIA!

I love Moving Comfort.  The Fiona bra is my favorite.  I found them at a running store.  I used to not like running when I had PMS because my breast would get sore and worse after bouncing around in a "sports bra" but this bra holds everything tightly in place.  I have 7 now and it's all I'll wear when running.  You might can wear the C (I'm a b/c) or they make other great styles for B cups.

Do you think that if I went up to a C that it would still work as well? I am a large B?

I second Moving Comfort.  Their Melbourne Bra is supposed to be good for B cups.

I would recommend the champion underwire sport bras.  I am a D/DD and while I don't jog a lot, when I do intervals on the treadmill, it works fine.  You could also check out "figleaves.com" which has a ton of different styles to give you ideas of what to look for in the stores.  Happy jogging!

I am a small C and use Jogbras (bought them at Target) when I run... they seem to keep everything close and snug.

I actually just tried the "Shock Absorber" from Victorias Secret and I was pleasantly surprised. I am the girl that hates ANY movement. I feel uncomfortable without a bra!
I think that buying sports bras by cup size is definately the key.

I have this champion as well, and I really like it. Its on sale at Victoria's Secret, but I got my at Dick's Sporting Goods (probably full price).
