sorry, i know i am bugging you all today, but i was flipping through my february copy of lucky magazine and came across the cutest shoes.  i looked for  them on the net and can't seem to find them.  can anyone help me.  they are taryn rose "chevel" peep toes.  they look like a very feminine wing tip. they are black and white.   thanks a bunch.

I don't know where you are physically, but the only place i recall seeing Taryn Rose are at boutiques. They are terribly comfy! But you pay for it.

ETA: i also find that Lucky has a terrible habit of putting things in the mag that aren't available to the general public for months & months, so it's possible that they aren't out yet. I hate that!

yah, i noticed that.  the shoes i am looking for are $470.   i live in the middle of nowhere, so if i can't find it online, i can't find it at all.

I see that zappos carries them, you can request that when they add new styles they will send you an email? I've stalked shoes that way before & it worked.

Neiman Marcus and Simply Soles also carry them. Simply Soles has fantastic cs, so they might be able to locate them for you. Also, in my experience, it seems Taryn Rose shoes always end up on sale. If you can wait it out, you should be able to get them cheaper! HTH!

ETA: Nordstrom also carries the brand!

I thought those looked an awful lot like swing dancing shoes, so I looked around:

Not exactly the same, unfortunately, but similar and much less expensive .
