Today is my early morning workout (5:00 am) so I eat a little something to give me fuel beforehand, so I have two breakfasts.


B (pre E):  cereal


B (after E):  oatmeal, orange, coffee


S:  cheese


L:  Spaghetti


S:  Cheese and Orange


D:  Grilled Pork Chops, White Asparagus, and Spinach


E:  45 minutes interval cardio training

Breakfast: Breakfast bread pudding. I got the recipe from Wild Oats website


Snack: grapefruit, orange, banana soup. (it's basically half of a sectioned grapefruit, orange and half of a banana all swimming in their yummy juices)


Lunch: Salad w/crackers


Snack: green tea, crackers and half an apple


Workout tonight: 40 min cardio followed by bodypump weight class


Dinner: Something from the health food store deli

B:  egg beaters, spinach, goat cheese on light english muffin


S:  2 clementines and bell peppper strips


L:  chicken, mushroom, and sundried tomato soup and yogurt


S:  sugar free pudding and cheese if hungry


D:  ravoli


E:  pilates arm dvd this morning.  I want to go to the gym this evening since I didn't go last night.

S: WW choc cake - 1 pt (so good - I love these!)
L: tuna with melbas & I ate the whole dang thing, so 6 pts

so far so good

Laken1 - I meant to ask you. How's it going? How's the first week?


B: 2 slices w/w light bread (1 point); 2 tablespoons whipped pb (3 points)


L: spinach salad with light blue cheese dressing, light feta, and a couple sugared walnuts (3 points); Lean Cuisine roasted veggie pizza (6 points); baked doritos (3 points) 


S: apple (1 point); field peas (1 point)


L: portabella mushroom raviolies with marinara sauce (6 points); same salad as lunch (3 points)


E: 1 hour of bodypump + some cardio (+4 points)

Thanks for asking - I weigh in tonight. I'm scared to death. But I have stayed within my points all week & haven't used some of my flex points, drank water, etc etc. If I don't lose I'm going to be VERY disappointed. I'll let you know tomorrow....well, or tonight if I'm crying again!

okay all you d & e girls - i need some harassment.


i'm going today to join the gym (i haven't had a membership in 10 years!), and i'm also trying to eat healthier.  currently, the most exercise i get a day is walking around at work or to go get my lunch, and i eat whatever i want whenever i want.  (which is generally a lot of carbs and other assorted junk). 


i need you girls to nag me to make sure i post here and to help me stick with it.  can you do that?


i'm 5'4", 125-130 lbs, and i want to be healthier.  i should probably quit smoking too (i know, i know), but i'm taking this slowly.  who wants to be my pain in the ass?

Ok, I am doing this too!


I found a diet today for abs.  It looks relatively my speed, so I am taking it on. 6 mini meals per day.


9am:  Small Coffee (splenda & nonfat milk), tangerine.


11:30am: South Beach Diet Cranberry & Almond Breakfast Bar


2:00pm: Chicken and veggie soup.  I made the chinese restaurant next door make it up.  It wasn't on the menu (I'm a brat!)


4:30pm: Tangerine & 1 Nature Valley Oats & Honey Granola Bar


7:00pm: Black Bean Burrito


9:30pm: Yogurt Smoothie


Exercise: 1/2 hour weights 45 min Interval Cardio


Ugh!-- I might hate eating soon!

ASF--I'll hold you accountable if you hold me accountable.  I need to start eating better/working out and I need someone to hold my feet to the fire if I don't.  Want to make some sort of deal?


B:  Grape nuts with raisins and Splenda, orange juice


S:  Green tea w/ honey


L:  Ham sandwich, a Coke, and a big oatmeal and raisin cookie that was not at all good for me.


D:  A burrito made w/ ground pork, a little cheese, black beans, and salsa


E:  Lunges up and down the hall.  2 sets of 20 situps.  I'm going to call it a day on the exercise since I think I'm coming down with a cold.
